He is currently the Vice Dean for Education and Students at GF. He was born in Rijeka, Republic of Croatia. He graduated from the GF in 2009. He obtained the academic title of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 2015 at the GF with the doctoral thesis entitled Radiometric equalization of textures on the photorealistic 3D models. His field of expertise is remote sensing algorithm development, remote sensing application in forestry and agriculture, GIS and spatial data analysis etc. He has participated in more than 15 scientific projects of the GF and he is a leader of the scientific project \u201cAutomatic monitoring of narrow-leaved ash (Fraxinus angustifolia Vahl) forests by remote sensing methods and Copernicus data (RS4EST)\u201d founded by ESA, \u201cAssessment of the long-term effect of climatic and anthropogenic influences on the spatio-temporal dynamics of vegetation cover in Croatia using satellite observations\u201d founded by Croatian science foundation and \u201cAdvanced methods of photogrammetry and remote sensing for monitoring changes in the environment (RS4ENVIRO)\u201d funded by the University of Zagreb. As an author and co-author, he has published a dream of more than 45 scientific papers published high quality scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), of which over 20 in Q1 journals. Her master&#8217;s thesis was on the topic of &#8220;Estimating rooftop solar potential using LIDAR data&#8221;.
